Change is inevitable. It happens while we sleep, even when we’re unconscious of the changes taking place; it happens whether we like it or not.
But to create change and to lead it toward something that is positive and good for humanity–that is a different matter altogether. It takes a consistent and conscious effort to shape events as they unfold, to frame the issues and challenges of the day, to incite people toward positive and productive action.
Changemaking is an art. Changemaking uses art. All changemakers are artists–whether they are aware of it or not.
This blog is about them. It’s about the people who aren’t afraid to be ahead of the curve, about those who ask “Why not?” instead of “Why me?”, about those whose attitude is shaped by curiosity, discovery, experience, and wonder.
It is about the cultural and social innovations that change the world, and about the artists who make them happen.
