Shopping around for Auto Transmission Repair? Stop Shopping The Simple Low Cost Solution

I've never known much about cars. I knew putting a key in the ignition would start them up. But that's about the extent of my car knowledge. As it turns out there a lot more to know. The start of my transmission education started last summer. It was a hot morning. I was on my usual route to work. As I sped up past the burger joint, I put it into fourth gear. I noticed a quick stall and angry grumble emanating from the engine. That's not a good sound. For the next twenty minutes of my commute the same thing would occur. Fantastic, I muttered to to no one. I arrived to work and luckily Tom, an automobile hobbyist was already there. He knew what the problem was right off the bat, as soon as I told him what happened. He told me all about transmissions, even though I didn't need to hear half of it. He told me the problem was most likely old transmission fluid. Transmission fluid wears out, apparently, and when it does it's almost useless. I might need a transmission flush. To confirm his theory he sent me to a good repair shop down the road. After work I drove over there. The Car maintenance Milton WA mechanics were great. First, they performed a free diagnostic test. Even before the results came back they automatically knew what the problem would be. And my co-worker was correct. After the shop flushed my transmission I was back on the road, my car running better than ever.
