Two videos to rekindle the spirit of People Power

On February 25, the Philippines commemorates the day when we finally ousted a dictator and changed the world through a peaceful, bloodless revolution. Since then, so much has changed and yet so much also remains the same.
I would just like to start off today by sharing these two songs that have helped ignite a nation and have kept the fire burning 24 years later.
May we NEVER lose the spirit of People Power wherever we are in the world.
P.S. February 25 is Blog Action Day in the Philippines! Celebrate the REAL heroes of EDSA by linking HERE.

Thanks so much, Loes. There truly are times which inspire us all as members of the human race. People Power is one of them. We hope our people remember its real meaning and bring that with them to the polls in May. Wish us luck! And you take care there in Dublin!

I wasn’t there 24 years ago. I’m not there now. I’m not even Filipino. Still, I’m touched and warmed and in awe. Such powerful images of an extraordinary event that continues today.
Everybody can be a changemaker, and nobody knows that better than you.
